This year's festival promises to be the best yet with a full programme of events and free entertainment throughout the day. Keep checking for details of attractions as they are confirmed.

Procession:  Proving popular once again last year, the Children's procession will leave Colville School at 11.00am led by the Arco Iris Samba Band and will make it's way around Colville and adjoining roads before walking down the High Street to enter the recreation ground for the Grand Opening at 12.00. 

Arena :  The Arena is nearly full with performances by :  Cambridge Academy of Martial Arts, Burwell Karate Club, Good Companions dog training group, Homerton gym club, Core of drum army cadet core, Jazzercize, Splitz theatre group, Chinese Community Centre Lion Dance, Cherry Hinton Ladies Line Dance... We have room for a few more if your group would like to be in our arena please contact us.  

Children's Entertainment:  We have entertainment and workshops throughout the day for all ages including Puppet shows and workshops with Just Puppets,  Drumming workshops with Arco Iris Samba band, Juggling and circus skills with Cambridge Community Circus, Arts and Crafts, Scrapstore and Chypps, Peter Rabbit Storytime and pinic with Cherry Hinton Library,, Display of bugs and small animals with Shepreth Wildlife Park, Fairground and Bouncy Castles, Q103, Beat the Goalie with the Cherry Hinton Lions, BMX display by Billy's Skaters and much more.....

Tea Tent: The Tea tent will again be serving their famous home made sandwiches and cakes and will host an afternoon Bingo Session. There will also be a number of talks and some acoustic music with the Cherry Hinton Folk Club.  Real ale from Inn and out Inns will be available in the Beer Tent.

History Exhibition:  A very popular part of the festival the history exhibition looks to be as good as ever with the marquee nearly full. Click here for a full list of this year's exhibitors.

Re-enactment Display : We are very excited to welcome The Company of St Jude who will be displaying their weaponry and performing re-enactment and training sessions throughout the afternoon

Craft and Charity Stalls:  Once again a varied and diverse mix from Jewellery, bags, patchwork, and plants,  tombola stalls, charity information stalls... There is still some space available, please download a booking form

Produce Competition: The festival will once again host the Cherry Hinton Produce Competition, Click here for rules and an entry form

Give and Take : New to the festival this year is the Give and Take Stall, like a jumble sale except that everything is free. The idea is for people to get rid of things they do not want, and to pick up some new things. Part of the recycle for Cambridge Campaign there will also be lots of recycling freebies..
